Payrite’s CMS cash management service turns your store into an authorised cash deposit centre for loan repayments. Customers of NBFCs, microfinance institutions and banks can pay their EMI in cash at your counter, and the amount is credited to the lender’s account against the customer’s loan number.

The service operates every day of the year, including public holidays and outside banking hours, which is exactly when borrowers need it most. Using the Payrite web portal or Android app you accept the cash, confirm the deposit and hand the customer an instant receipt, while your wallet is credited with a commission on each collection.

How the CMS cash management service works

Select the lender from the biller list, enter the customer’s loan account number or registered mobile number, and the portal fetches the due EMI details. Collect the cash, confirm the payment, and the deposit is posted to the lender in real time with a unique reference number. The customer receives a receipt they can show to the lender’s field officer. The amount is deducted from your Payrite wallet and your commission is credited at the same time, so your accounts stay balanced at the end of the day. All collections appear in your report for reconciliation.

Who should offer CMS?

CMS works best in semi-urban and rural areas where NBFC and microfinance borrowers are concentrated and bank branches are far away: kirana stores, agri-input shops, mobile shops, CSC operators and existing AEPS or money transfer agents. Because EMIs fall due every month, a CMS point quickly builds a loyal base of repeat customers who also use your other services.

Why choose Payrite for cash management

Payrite connects you to multiple lenders through a single interface, posts deposits instantly and gives you day-wise reports for easy reconciliation. Support is available for lender-side queries and receipt disputes. You can begin with a modest wallet balance and increase it as collections grow. If you are a distributor who wants to offer EMI collection to your own agent network under your own brand, CMS is included in the Payrite white label fintech platform together with DMT, AEPS, BBPS and recharge.

Frequently asked questions

What is a CMS cash management service?

A CMS cash management service allows an authorised retail agent to accept cash loan repayments and EMIs on behalf of NBFCs, microfinance institutions and banks, and credit them to the lender against the borrower’s loan account in real time.

Can customers pay EMIs on holidays through CMS?

Yes. Payrite CMS operates every day of the year, including public holidays and outside normal banking hours, so borrowers can pay on time even when bank branches are closed.

How does the customer get proof of payment?

After a successful deposit the portal generates a receipt with a unique reference number, which you can print or share. The lender’s system is updated in real time, and most lenders also send their own confirmation SMS.

Do I need a wallet balance to collect EMIs?

Yes. The EMI amount is deducted from your Payrite wallet when you confirm the deposit, and you keep the cash collected from the customer. Your commission is credited to the wallet at the same time.

Which lenders can I collect for?

You can collect for the NBFCs, microfinance institutions and banks that are live on the Payrite CMS biller list. The list is visible inside the portal and is updated as new lenders are added.
